The L.T.S.I. prides itself on the reputation it has gained since January 2001.
We operate a 100% 'what you see is what you get' policy, with all dues paid to
the organisation being fully accounted for at our annual AGM. All admin staff
are voluntary, like everyone on the management board. The Head of our
Association is Mr. Chris Snow, 5th Degree Black Belt, who has been actively
training / teaching in the art for over two decades, producing top level quality
students and Instructors. The L.T.S.I. has gained one of the best reputations in
the U.K. as an organisation that is run with excellent standards across the
board- this has only happened due to our
members and instructors' dedication and hard work. Politics and egos are
not welcome in our group. All our schools operate safe and friendly environments
to train in and, above all, we offer a quality service and excellent training as
standard.We also offer
International belt recognition from white belt through to Black Belt.
PROMOTIONS AT L.T.S.I.
27/04/08:
Seven students from
the L.T.S.I. took their new degrees today under what most claim is the most
thorough testing panel ever created by the L.T.S.I. Executive. The test, which
started at 9.30am and finished at 4.10pm, was intensive, to say the least.
Senior examiner Mr. Snow, 5th Degree, was assisted by the groups' Black Belt
assessment officers Mr. Stuart Smith, 3rd Degree, and Mr. Malcolm Pearce, 2nd
Degree. Promoted to 2nd Degree were Mr. A. Smith, Mr. A. Aliousalah and Mr. E.
Moulster. Other candidates to reach 1st Degree status were Mr. J. Brennan, Mr.
M. Titheradge, Mr. L. Carling and Miss A. Smith. We take this time to
congratulate all candidates on reaching their new levels.
SUMMER
SLAM EVENT ORGANISED FOR 08/06/08 28/04/08:The L.T.S.I. are
organising a tournament for the summer - a.k.a. 'Summer Slam', this event is
open, but will be low key. This will be good for students who do not normally
take part to try competition first hand. The event is set to take place at
Greenwood Park Leisure Centre and will cost just £15 to enter. The event will
also see a 'demo challenge' event, where all schools will get the chance to
enter one team each - the three top demo teams will win medals. This alone will
be a worthwhile crowd pleaser. Forms and posters can be found pressing a button
under▼▼.
